Your determination to deliver quality and accuracy will improve health outcomes that people and communities depend on – now and in the future.Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.PPD are currently hiring for an Analytical Scientist to join our client based in Rixensart for an initial 6 month contract to support with Process development of a mRNA production.Responsibilities:Conduct method screening to identify the most suitable analytical techniques for upstream and downstream processes.Perform analysis of samples from both upstream and downstream processes to ensure quality and consistency.Develop and optimize analytical methods for upstream and downstream processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.Provide hands-on support in the lab for experiments conducted by upstream and downstream scientists to ensure alignment and effective implementation.Prepare detailed reports, including next steps and optimization recommendations.Organize the workload by considering available materials, equipment, and the upstream/downstream scientist’s capacity for sample analysis. Ensure synchronization with other team members working on the same or related projects.Document experiments in electronic batch record system. Writing (alone or with other team members) in English the protocols before starting the experiments and the reports summarizing the results in collaboration with Products and Process Experts. Presents the methodology and/or results if required;Participate to lab housekeeping.Role Requirements :MSc in Molecular Biology, Chemical engineering, Bio-engineering or related discipline, + 2-3 years of relevant experience in academy or industry.
