About the role:
In this role, you will perform the day-to-day operations of the Payment Services team and provide assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing:
Be the primary point of contact for clients, relationship managers and internal departments, liaising with stakeholders and other financial institutions
Support all payment functions and maintain excellent service levels
Provide internal and external customers with exceptional service by ensuring all functions are actioned in a timely and accurate manner
Profiling payment instructions for processing Centre
Process all low value payments (EPS, Periodical Payments)
Process internal book transfers, including booking FX Contracts.
Assist with BOD process and EOD reconciliation
Prepare monthly statistics for reporting
Openly communicate with processing centre on business and customer enquiries
Liaise with Treasury Front Office and other businesses on funding position and FX settlements
What we are looking for:
Experience in an Operations processing role and payments knowledge is desirable, but not essential
Excellent communication, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
Time management skills and ability to manage workload, escalating where necessary
Customer focus and willingness to go above and beyond
Efficiency and accuracy
Innovation and process improvement is desirable
