Job Description:Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of four heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair’s entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.We are currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.Duties Include:

• Carry out aircraft component sheet metal repairs I.A.W. approved maintenance procedures
• Ensuring documentation is completed correctly I.A.W. company procedures
• Ensuring that company procedures are followed at all times
• Ensuring that safe working practices are maintained at all times
• Ensuring the work area and environment are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Carry out any additional tasks allocated by the supervisors or management

Requirements:

• A good knowledge of all aspects of aircraft sheet metal repair
• Previous MRO component or A/C sheet metal experience
• Must be flexible, including availability to work overtime as and when required
• Ability and willingness to train non-skilled personnel
• Excellent spoken and written English is essential
• Willing to work shifts (including nights)
• applicants should have unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Successful candidate is required to provide a clean Disclosure Scotland to work at UK Airports.
