DescriptionJob Title: Aircraft Leasing VP Technical (startup platform)Location: Dublin, IrelandSalary: Flexible – dependent on experienceEmployment Type: Full-timeWe have been retained by a financial institution which is setting up a new aviation investment business and has a requirement for a VP Technical. This is a critical role that will oversee all aspects of aircraft risk management from initial inspection and valuation, through the life cycle and particularly managing aircraft re-delivery / onward sale or part-out.Responsibilities:

• Review and negotiate technical terms for aircraft transactions.

• Oversee inspections, maintenance, and due diligence for fleet management.

• Manage projects involving aircraft delivery, transition, and storage.

• Support investment analysis and maintenance rate adjustments.

• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, MROs, and regulators.

Requirements:

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or FAA/EASA certification with at least 7+ years in aircraft transition management, ideally from a lessor.

• Expertise in maintenance programs, technical records, and lease documentation.

• Proficiency in project management and stakeholder coordination.
