Your new company are a well-established mechanical engineering contractor, currently expanding and seeking a skilled Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team in Dublin or the Midlands.This role involves performing maintenance, responding to service calls, and carrying out new installations and commissioning for a range of projects, particularly within healthcare, pharma and commercial environments.Their reputation is built on strong client relationships, quality workmanship, and a commitment to delivering tailored solutions on time and within budget. • Skilled in working with a range of Air Conditioning systems, including Splits, VRV, VRF, CRAC units, AHUs, and Chillers.
• Holds a recognized HVAC Qualification (FETAC or equivalent).
• Certified in F-Gas.
• Holds a valid, clean driving license.
• Previous experience in Healthcare and Commercial settings and contract work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently.
• Self-driven with a strong capacity to work autonomously to achieve goals.
• Irish construction experience.

Air Conditioning Engineer Skills:

• Perform planned maintenance tasks on a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Respond promptly to reactive service calls, troubleshooting and repairing issues as needed.
• Conduct installations and commissioning for new builds, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Apply strong fault-finding skills to diagnose and resolve issues in systems including Splits, VRV, VRF, CRAC units, AHUs, and Chillers.
