Job description

A leading Global organisation in the South East of Ireland is currently seeking an Agile Delivery Manager for a 12-month rolling day rate contract, with a rate of €500-€550 per day. In this role, you will lead teams to deliver medium to high complexity technology solutions and drive the successful adoption of Agile methodologies. Hybrid working is supported, with flexibility for candidates based further away who can be available on-site as needed. You will need to be based in Ireland.What you will be doing in the role:

• You will initiate, plan, manage, and coach teams in delivering technology solutions that are innovative, scalable, and compliant with best practices.
• You will enable key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• You will work independently to apply industry-leading delivery effectiveness skills, tools, and techniques.
• You will coach teams in adopting an Agile mindset, improving performance, and fostering a high-performing environment.
• You will act as a change agent, supporting the rollout of Agile practices, and removing obstacles to ensure smooth progress.
• You will manage governance, reporting, and monitoring activities as required by the delivery framework.
• You will build and expand relationships with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business value.
• You will identify, decompose, and proactively address potential impediments to maintain consistent progress.

What you will need:

• You will have 5+ years of experience as an IT Scrum Master with additional project management experience.
• You will have significant experience working with IT delivery teams and engaging with business stakeholders.
• You will have 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry
• You will have a Scrum Master certification (preferred).
• You will have a solid understanding of both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• You will have strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in various team structures and dynamics.
• You will be proactive and capable of strategic thinking while remaining focused on tasks.
