PermanentLetterkenny, Donegal€55000 – €60000 per annum Bonus, Pension, Health InsuranceMy Client is looking for an AEM Developer/SME in Digital CMS, where you’ll collaborate with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to craft captivating digital consumer experiences using Adobe’s AEM product suite. This role is based in Letterkenny where you will be based in the office 2 days per week.Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing AEM-based solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability, while integrating AEM components.
- Design and architect AEM solutions in alignment with business requirements, industry best practices, and client IT standards.
- Customizing AEM components, dialogs, widgets, templates, and workflows to meet project needs.
- Creating reusable AEM components and integrating them with third-party systems.
Requirements:
- Hands-on AEM experience with proficiency in web technologies like JSP, JavaScript, XML, XPATH, AJAX, JQuery, Adobe APIs, Apache Sling, and OSGi bundles.
- Strong understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly, and enterprise Java frameworks like Spring.
- Experience in end-to-end AEM implementations, preferably with AEM 6.5 or later and AEM as a cloud service.
- Experience in architecting and implementing Adobe solutions.
- Proficiency in defining component structures, path management, Vanity URLs, Asset, Dynamic Media, and Tag management.
- Familiarity with Solr Search and a good grasp of UX and web components.
- Hands-on experience with AEM as a cloud service and familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Analytics, and AEP are advantageous.
- Ability to perform Adobe Product Administrative tasks including infrastructure setup, performance optimization, and security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies like Agile and SCRUM.
- Knowledge of client-side, server-side, and database performance optimizations.
- Experience with code management, code quality, and continuous integration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
- Experience with other CMS platforms is a plus.
