About Amal Healing & Advocacy Center
Amal Healing & Advocacy Center (AHAC) is a women-led organization that specialized in empowering women, who have experienced psychological symptoms resulting from social and sexual violence within their family or community.
AHAC seeks to contribute to creating a change in the status of women in Syrian society and to support them in becoming more aware of their rights and opportunities.
The motivation to start the organization was led by the desire to contribute to building a Syrian society based on fair and equal human rights in an independent civil state.
The organization was founded in 2014 in Antakya, Turkey, which is located near the Syrian-Turkish border and strives to respond to the needs of Syrian refugee women, survivors of violence in particular.

Job Details:
The goal of this contract is to employ an experienced officer to organize and manage effective advocacy campaigns and ensure that the campaign objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement advocacy strategies in collaboration with the team.

Provide appropriate strategic and operational support to community campaigns by providing direct support on the ground when necessary.

Contribute to the preparation of operations and management strategies for AHAC.

Work to build a thriving community of campaign supporters by providing timely advice and assistance, facilitating communication and interaction, and exploring ways to enhance the effectiveness of community campaigns.

Develop and implement effective and integrated campaign plans, including strategies and tactics related to the overall vision, goals and objectives of the AHAC organization.

Monitoring the effects of campaigns and providing project management with information that supports the development of and directions for the implemented campaigns. This includes monitoring field, scientific and technical developments related to campaigns.

Assume the task of speaking on behalf of the AHAC organization when needed and represent the organization effectively to achieve the objectives of the campaigns and enhance the organization’s reputation and credibility.

Contribute to the design and implementation of AHAC’ digital communication and interaction strategies when needed.

Coordinating and building relationships with local authorities, volunteers, civic bodies, and governmental and non-governmental organizations on issues related to campaign objectives.

Effectively represent the AHAC organization before stakeholders and interested parties in general, with the aim of achieving the campaign objectives and enhancing the organization’s reputation and credibility, and assuming the task of speaking on behalf of the organization when needed to achieve the same objectives.

Evaluate the progress of campaigns, identify deficiencies based on specific evaluation criteria, and prepare reports on the progress in implementing campaigns and periodic reports on the campaign.

Confidentiality, the confidentiality of information and preservation of privacy
The (contractor) must keep all the secrets and correspondences of AHAC Organization and/or the financing partner and any information related to them strictly confidential during and after his/her work and not share them with any external party.

At the end of this contract, the contractor must hand over all data, equipment, scientific / training materials, documents, and any backup copies, written or electronic notes, and reports – if any – that were collected or created during the contract period.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Turkish citizenship, Bachelor’s degree in political science, law, public administration, or any related specialty.

- Previous experience in Advocacy campaigns coordinating.
- Advanced knowledge in report writing
- Advanced knowledge in remote management tools and techniques.
- Advanced knowledge in office applications (Excel & Word).
- Advanced basic knowledge in Google applications and project management applications.
