The position is with Clara Heritage Society and the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties: – Organise and maintain a filing system – Attend meeting and record minutes for the Heritage Society & Town Team (approx 3 per month) – Assist with the exhibiting of a photo collection – Administrative work related to funding applications, events & the Heritage/Town Team day to day administrative work, under the guidance of the chair, secretary or treasurer – Oversee the care and maintenance of the premises in collaboration with the Equipments Officer – Prepare the main hall and the meeting room for events/meetings in collaboration with the Equipments Officer – Attend Heritage events where possible and assist with organisation work The successful candidate should ideally have good organisational skills along with an understanding and appreciation of heritage & history. Good admin skills would be preferrable and a basic ability to undertake administrative work. Training is provided on CE for all required tasks. Flexibility will be required as many meeting and events may be outside regular office hours. confidentiality is a crucial requirement for this role. As with all CE schemes training is a requirement of partaking in the scheme and while experience is an advantage for the role it is not a requirement as all positions are training positions
