Job Summary

Working for Arlo, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for cash collections across Europe, APAC and America regions. The successful candidate will form part of a small-sized team working in a fast-paced multinational environment. Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager there will be the opportunity to gain significant exposure to all areas of finance and business across the Arlo organization. This would be an ideal role for an ambitious individual looking to develop a finance career in the Information Technology industry, with results and performance of the AR function closely monitored by senior finance management. Arlo is highly focused on Learning and Development for all team members and engages regularly with diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Organizational Relationships

This position will work closely with Finance and Business teams based in Ireland, APAC & US regions. Flexibility to engage in evening calls may be required on an ad-hoc basis.

Specific Responsibilities

• Managing the Worldwide Collection’s function to ensure optimal monthly aged debtor results. This will include a hands-on approach to ensure high-volume customer disputes on US retailer account portals are kept up to date and monitored.
• Monitor credit risk of Arlo’s worldwide debtor portfolio supporting renewal of annual credit insurance policy.
• Application of cash receipts on a daily basis.
• Enthusiastic, highly organized, outgoing, self-confident individual with strong communication skills.
• Previous experience working for a multinational company, with experience in managing high volume US retailer accounts such as Amazon, Walmart preferred.
• Diligent and organized approach to management of high-volume tasks.
• Able to work independently, committed to learning and development, flexible.
• MS Excel Skills is required.
• Experience of Oracle E-Business ERP system is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of Sarbanes Oxley.
• Strong team player, with a commitment to ensure team success in meeting objectives.
• Supportive of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives is a must.Work to enhance automation processes across the Collections function.
• Assist with preparation of monthly AR reports, including explanation for any aged debtor balances and calculation of bad debt reserve.
• Proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Handling of Ad hoc audit requests, both for internal audit and external statutory audits.
• Ownership of Sarbanes Oxley compliance for area of responsibility.
