Job Title: Accounting Consultant – Remote Project

Vaco has partnered with an organization seeking a skilled Accounting Consultant for a 3-month, fully remote engagement. This project is ideal for professionals with public accounting experience who are proficient with Blackline and NetSuite software. Experience in the renewable energy industry is highly preferred, making this a unique opportunity for those passionate about clean energy and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in streamlining and improving accounting workflows using Blackline and NetSuite.
• Support the preparation, reconciliation, and review of key financial accounts and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
• Leverage expertise in public accounting to address complex accounting challenges.
• Provide insights and best practices relevant to the renewable energy industry, if applicable.
• Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close processes as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred.
• Proven public accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Blackline and NetSuite software (required).
• Familiarity with the renewable energy industry (preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fully remote setting.
