Position Overview: The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This individual will manage a portfolio of key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. Fluency in English, and French proficiency is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring prompt resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to assess client needs, identify opportunities for growth, and provide strategic guidance.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Ontario/Quebec region, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights to expand the client base.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted strategies for prospecting, lead generation, and account acquisition.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of our products/services.
- Account Management:
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business objectives, challenges, and priorities, aligning our solutions to address their specific needs.
- Proactively monitor account performance, track key metrics, and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, customer support) to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and exceed client expectations.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic account plans, outlining objectives, tactics, and timelines for achieving revenue targets and business goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College, preferably in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration.
- 3-4 years of proven experience in operations or account management.
- Demonstrated customer-centric approach with exceptional relationship-building skills. Knowledge and/or passion for various sports is a plus.
- Strong understanding of products and technology, coupled with organizational abilities to manage multiple account tasks efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on procedural excellence and adept problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in delivering polished professional presentations and effective communication in both written and verbal forms.
- Exposure to CRM systems is advantageous.
- Ability to utilize AI tools to identify and implement operational efficiencies.
