We’re looking for an individual who has a good understanding of the requirements of an elite level sporting organisation with excellent prioritisation and administration skills to join our team as an Academy Secretary. In this varied role, you will provide administrative support to the Club Secretary in the delivery of football administration activities at the LFC Academy in order to ensure the Club complies with the regulatory requirements of the PL, FA, EFL UEFA and FIFA.What will you be doing?Responsible for all Academy secretariat requirements, including providing secretariat support to the Club Secretary, Academy Director and the Academy Management Team.
Act as the point of contact between the Academy and the Premier League for all administrative matters, including the submission of any and all required information for the Academy.
Be familiar and knowledgeable about all relevant provisions of UEFA licensing, EPPP and Youth Development Rules, as amended from time to time.
Oversee and manage all match days in relation to the U23, U18, UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup matches, ensuring all Match Day requirements and administrative arrangements are managed effectively.
Confirm all relevant requirements relating Tours and Tournaments and collaborate with the Head of Education & Welfare and the Academy Coordinator in relation to Tours and Tournament management, ensuring compliance with any and all Premier League/ UEFA/FA etc stipulations and requirements;
In conjunction with the Club Secretary and the Head of Academy Football Operations, advise on action plans to ensure continued compliance with Youth Development Rules and requirements;
Manage ‘International Call Ups’ for all Academy players, liaising with the Academy Management Team and coaching staff as appropriate;
Assist in the provision of all necessary assistance to the Premier League in relation to the on-going monitoring and annual evaluations of the Academy and to the ISO in connection with the ISO (and other) Audits, as directed by the Academy Director and/or Club Secretary;
Manage other administrative activities as required from time to time by the Club Secretary
Respond to disciplinary matters as they pertain to Academy Players in conjunction with the Club Secretary.
Maintain up to date records of Coaching qualifications and licenses for all full time academy coaching staff

You will have up to date knowledge of professional football regulations, including rules governing on-pitch discipline and fixtures management.With your excellent organisation and administrative skills, you can prioritise workloads and work on multiple tasks at the same time, adapting work tasks to meet conflicting deadlines and respond to changing situations. Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you can convey information accurately and clearly, tailoring it to your audience. You can build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and creating an effective network of colleagues and contacts both inside and outside the business.You can demonstrate professionalism and the highest levels of discretion. You will be proactive reliable and resilient with the confidence to stand your ground when appropriate.
