Bioforce is looking for a Logistics and Administration Officer in Lebanon to support the implementation of the REACH project by January 2025 to contribute to strengthening the commitment of local and national actors and improving the efficiency of their responses to the needs of populations.
ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES
Under the overall guidance of the Projects Coordinator – Lebanon, the Admin/Logistics Officer will:
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain and organize project files, supplies, and equipment inventory, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.
- Prepare official letters, emails, documents, and reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with donors and local regulations, organizational policies, and procedures.
Procurement and Vendor Management
- Coordinate procurement processes, including preparing requests for quotations, evaluating bids, and issuing purchase orders.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain a database of reliable suppliers and service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Negotiate suppliers’ contracts, monitor their performance, and promptly address any issues related to goods or services.
Logistics and Event Coordination
- Handle staff and expert travel logistics, including booking accommodation, transportation, and other related arrangements.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including venue booking, catering, and equipment setup.
- Coordinate with experts, facilitators, participants, and vendors to ensure events run smoothly.
- Manage event budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare post-event reports.
Field Support and Communication
- Act as the main point of contact for general inquiries related to administration and logistics.
- Provide logistical and administrative support to field teams, including conducting site visits as needed.
- Assist with any additional tasks or directives aligned with operational development requirements.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with INGOs or humanitarian/development organizations.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and logistics processes.
- Experience in events and workshop management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Knowledge and skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Strong skills in reporting
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in Arabic, French and English
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of local procurement and administrative laws and regulations.

CONDITIONS
Inception date: February 2025
Status: National Employee (Umbrella company contract)
Contract duration: 22 months. The contract will be for six (6) months and renewable for sixteen (16) months (February 2025-July 2025) and (August 2025-December 2026)
Remuneration: 1300 USD
Place: Tripoli, with occasional travel to Beirut and field visits to CSOs locations
