This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality MI and analytics to support underwriting and operational performance across both a Lloyd’s Syndicate and a growing MGA platform.About the Role:As the Underwriting MI Analyst, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining insightful dashboards and reports, primarily in Power BI, that drive data-informed decision-making. Working closely with Underwriting, Operations, IT, and Data teams, you’ll ensure timely, accurate, and accessible reporting while contributing to the evolution of the group’s data strategy and governance framework.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support portfolio management.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable data insights.
• Support internal and external reporting, including regulatory submissions (e.g. Lloyd’s PMD).
• Contribute to the development of data catalogues and governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to define best practices in reporting.
• Gain a deep understanding of underwriting data and insurance systems.

What the Client is Looking For:

• Proven experience in Power BI (including DAX, SQL, and Power Query).
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Lloyd’s/London Market insurance operations.
• Understanding of data governance and regulatory requirements.
• Proactive mindset with the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
