LinkedIn is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead growth and innovation in our Australia & New Zealand markets for LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions (LSS) business and its Sales Navigator product suite. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives on challenges and is passionate about driving sales excellence. The Director of Sales Solutions, ANZ, will lead and energize a talented sales team to unlock the full potential of the ANZ market, part of the wider APAC region with a Total Addressable Market of over $2B. They will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy that drives growth and innovation, ensure robust sales processes, make strategic resource allocation decisions, and build compelling investment cases to accelerate growth. This leader will be prepared to get in the weeds as required and lead by example in selling activities.

The successful leader will guide the team through a transformative journey as our products innovate, fostering a high-performance culture and embracing change. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategies that capture demand and expand market penetration across various sub-segments, including new business acquisition, customer retention and expansion, and targeting SMB to Enterprise customers. ​Key Role Responsibilities ​:

  • Create and drive a high-performing culture that inspires the team to excel and grow throughout all phases of the talent life cycle, including hiring, developing, leading through change, and managing performance.

  • Set a strategy for ANZ that aligns with and influences both regional APAC and global approaches, focusing on driving growth and capitalizing on market opportunities through big-picture thinking, creative problem-solving, adaptive leadership, decisive prioritization, and strong cross-functional partnerships.

  • Exceed targets by managing operational discipline across sales segments, executing with precision, and adapting to the moment in terms of positioning or sales execution.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and optimize strategies, maintaining a deep understanding of the business, customer, and market sentiment and challenges.

  • Serve as the sponsor for the most important customer and prospect relationships, demonstrating a customer-focused approach.

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across LinkedIn, with a keen focus on the product development lifecycle, bringing products to market, capturing the voice of the market, and providing strong input to marketing.

  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.

  • Establish a communication cadence that constructively communicates the needs of the business and the expectations for the organization, effectively conveying messages to drive change.

Basic Qualifications ​:

  • 8+ years in sales leadership positions

  • 10+ years’ experience in quota-carrying sales, business development or other revenue owning function

Preferred Qualifications ​:

  • A track record of continuous professional development of self and others ​

  • History of creating a diverse culture where people can thrive​

  • Experience driving cultural transformation and change at scale​

  • Experience leading sales leaders in consistently meeting and exceeding revenue goals and driving accountability​

  • Expertise in the understanding and application of relevant sales methodologies across different segments​

  • Strong oral/written communication, presentation skills, conflict resolution and negotiating skills​

  • Excellent client management skills with a history of strong client relationships, client advocacy and driving mutually successful outcomes ​

  • Visionary: demonstrates an ability to understand trends, see around corners, build and act on strategy. Leads with data and compelling narratives/storytelling​

  • Strong product awareness. Understands product development cycles and has played a key role in bringing products to market and providing key product feedback​
