Job description
- Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Employment law team.
- Assist with the preparation and management of legal documents, case files, and client correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents, letters, and correspondence as directed by the Employment team.
- Manage client files and ensure they are accurately maintained and up to date.
- Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and court dates for fee earners.
- Draft and proofread documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
- Handle client queries and maintain excellent client relationships.
- Process and manage time recording and billing for fee earners.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and ensure effective communication with clients and third parties.
- Support the team in various administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a law firm.
- Previous experience in Employment Law is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
