Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence? We are seeking an experienced DX Operations Manager to join our team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Developer Services operations.About the Role Reporting to the Head of Wholesale and Development Experience, the DX Operations Manager will oversee the integrated functions of the Technical & Extra Care Delivery Lead and the New Mains Lead. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless technical service delivery from customer payment through to project completion, prioritising health and safety, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire two team leads to deliver high-quality services for New Connections and New Mains.
- Champion a zero-tolerance approach to poor safety performance, water quality failures, and customer service interruptions.
- Manage developer-driven projects, including local reinforcements, new mains installations, and new connections, ensuring delivery within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, hosting regular meetings to address issues and gather feedback.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across delivery processes and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with Water UK metrics, NRSWA, CDM, and Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in a developer services environment.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
- Experience working with NEC4 contracts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualification (desired).
- Experience in the water or wider utilities sector (desired).
