QA Manager – €65k-€75kDublin, Ireland – Fully onsiteManage and oversee QA activities across multiple projects, ensuring the application of risk-based testing strategies.Lead, develop, and support QA Leads, promoting a positive and high-performance work culture.Act as the main escalation point for QA challenges, offering coaching and guidance to resolve issues.Ensure the onboarding and training of new team members in QA standards and methodologies.Track, manage, and resolve QA risks and issues in a timely manner.Oversee all stages of testing, including SIT, UAT, Performance, Non-Functional, and Automation.Manage the process of test planning, preparation, execution, and defect tracking.Ensure QA sign-offs are consistent with go-live checklists and project requirements.Lead lessons learned discussions to enhance future project implementations.Contribute to solution proposal reviews and design workshops.Provide QA input on functional and automation architecture specifications.Develop and implement QA strategies to meet project demands.Identify and communicate resource and environmental needs to stakeholders.Guide decision-making and project direction by identifying and addressing key business needs.Report on QA progress, risks, and strategies to senior management.Ensure alignment with Agile methodologies and industry best practices.Required Skillset:Over 8 years of experience in software testing or development.At least 3 years in a QA management role, overseeing complex, business-critical applications.Familiarity with Agile environments and test management tools like JIRA and Confluence.In-depth understanding of test planning, execution, automation, and defect management.Proven experience in implementing new QA strategies and improving processes.Skilled at influencing stakeholders and driving decisions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.Experience in reporting to senior management and handling project escalations.Able to push back on unrealistic expectations and uphold quality standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, business, and IT stakeholders.Experience in the Financial Services / Banking industry is an advantage.Certifications & Qualifications:ISTQB Advanced Certification in Software Testing (Preferred).Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant fieldOur client cannot provide sponsorship for this role unfortunately.If you are interested in this position, then please hit ‘Apply’ below or contact Samuel in Reperio Human Capital for more information.
