Our team is a part of the Solutions Engineering organization and helps solve a wide range of problems to enable our pre-sales experts to be more effective. These problems will help you develop deep technical expertise in an array of industry leading technologies.As an Associate Solutions Engineer you will:Maintain, upgrade and support demo systems and environments (public cloud and on-premises) with high uptimeCollaborate with various Cloudera teams including solutions engineering, field specialists, engineering, product, and support to resolve technical issues, develop new demo content, and implement best practices in demo environmentsSupport Solutions Engineers when issues arise with demo systemsWork across the organization to develop and maintain new and existing demo contentAssist with answering technical questions on RFPs/RFIsWe’re excited about you if you have (qualifications):Understanding of basic Linux, DataBase, or programming concepts preferred.Experience with Kubernetes and one (or more) of the major cloud vendorsProven ability to adapt and learn new technologies quicklyStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.Bonus: Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform and DevOps principlesWhat you can expect from us:Generous PTO PolicySupport work life balance withFlexible WFH PolicyMental & Physical Wellness programsPhone and Internet Reimbursement programAccess to Continued Career DevelopmentComprehensive Benefits and Competitive PackagesEmployee Resource GroupsCloudera is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
