Excellent opportunity for a Product Owner to join a growing software company.
The Product Owner will be responsible for managing and delivering IT Products through their entire lifecycle, providing key inputs into IT Product strategy and design and being accountable for IT Product operation and change. This is an Agile Squad role.Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
- Actively engage with customers and market stakeholders via workshops, focus groups, and 1-1 sessions to deeply understand their challenges, workflows, and needs.
- Build strong relationships with key customers to serve as their advocate during the product development process.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Capture and document detailed business and technical requirements.
- Prioritize and refine customer needs into well-structured Epics, Features, and User Stories that align with business objectives.
- Backlog Engagement:
- Maintain a clear and transparent product backlog.
- Prioritize work for the agile development team, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and customer value.
- Continuously refine backlog items with input from customers, stakeholders, and the development team.
- Collaboration with Development Teams:
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers, stakeholders, and the agile team.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure the team delivers value consistently.
- Provide clarity to developers on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about product updates, roadmaps, and timelines.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement and product delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager, or similar role in a SaaS environment.
- Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working with development teams in an agile setting.
- Exceptional ability to gather, analyze, and prioritize customer requirements, translating them into actionable development tasks.
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops and customer meetings confidently.
- Proficiency with tools such as DevOps, Azure or similar platforms for backlog management and collaboration.
- .Net, Web Services, HTML, XML a nice to have
- Ability to balance short-term customer demands with long-term strategic goals.
- Experience in delivering solutions that drive measurable customer outcomes.
