Here at NewsCorp Australia, we have an awesome and rare opportunity to join our ever-evolving Quality and Test Environment practice.
Reporting to the QA Automation Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of all test activities for the Enterprise Services and Publishing Operations Domain (ESPO) team within NewsCorp Australia.
What’s the role?

Lead a team of approximately 15 manual & automated test engineers in Editorial, Video, API and Publishing Technology platform teams within ESPO.

Develop and manage the execution of Testing Strategies defi ning the testing, purposes, responsibilities, guidelines, schedule, and other information specifi c to projects for ESPO.

Provide test estimates for ESPO QA eff ort for projects ● Responsible for coordinating and scheduling all eff ort to ensure QA delivery

Ensure all QA test artifacts are being used by the team

Ensure appropriate planning and management of resources. Manage SOW’s and requirements with vendors.

Manage the ongoing ESPO Automation uplift. Champion the Automation 1st Policy.

Mange stakeholders, within ESPO and business stakeholders

Provide overall testing metrics/report for projects and other ESPO BAU QA work items

Work with project teams to schedule testing sessions and coordinate/monitor assignments and progress

Work with Test Managers in other domains to plan integrated or E2E Testing

Oversee all test execution activities including defect management troubleshooting and resolution

Understanding of testing tools, unit testing, integration test scripting, manual and automated regression testing, and testing methodologies
Who are you?
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in testing Media applications and API’s.

Proficiency in management of automated testing and methodologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Proven ability to produce quality deliverables effectively and efficiently with high attention to detail
-
5+ years experience in a Test Manager role within Media for platforms such as, Editorial, Publishing systems, API’s, Finance and HR systems
-
Team player, willing to help where and when needed
-
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and recommend resolutions
