Senior Mechanical Engineer – Limerick (Hybrid)Location: Limerick, Ireland (Hybrid)Sector: Mechanical Engineering | Building ServicesAbout the RoleWe are hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a client with a national presence. This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in delivering high-quality mechanical design projects while mentoring engineers and driving innovation in building services.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage full mechanical design across projects of various sizes.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with Irish building regulations.
  • Manage project costs, budgets, and timelines effectively.
  • Oversee project teams and cross-functional teams.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and technical surveys.
  • Collaborate with teams across multiple locations.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum requirement).
  • 6+ years of experience in Building Services Consultancy Design.
  • Strong expertise in water services, HVAC, LTHW, fuel systems, drainage, and BMS.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, particularly TGD Parts B, F, G, and L.
  • Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessments, and dynamic energy modelling (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BIM software (strong advantage).
  • Chartership is desirable but not essential.
