F&B Supervisor – Events & In Room Dining at Hyatt Centric Melbourne:

Based on site in the Melbourne CBD, Food & Beverage Supervisor – Events & In-Room Dining, you’ll be at the helm of creating memorable experiences through our distinctive events and personalized in-room dining services. Lead a passionate team as you ensure that every event is flawlessly executed and every in-room dining experience exceeds expectations. Your leadership will play a crucial role in showcasing the Hyatt Centric’s dedication to excellence, making this an exciting and dynamic opportunity!

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the execution of flawless events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions, ensuring every detail exceeds expectations.

  • Supervise the smooth operation of in-room dining, delivering exceptional meals and service directly to guests’ rooms.

  • Mentor and train new associates, supporting their development and ensuring they’re fully immersed in the Hyatt culture of service excellence.

  • Assist in day-to-day tasks, ensuring Hyatt’s brand standards and hygiene procedures are consistently upheld.

Qualifications:

About You:

  • Experience in a supervisory role within a high-paced, service-driven environment, particularly with event planning or in-room dining services

  • A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a knack for time management

  • The ability to confidently make decisions in high-pressure situations and consistently go the extra mile

  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays
