Job DescriptionDrainage Engineer ( Remedials team or Reactive team )£35,000 (negotiable upon experience) + Overtime OTE of £10,000Birmingham & surrounding areasFull Time| Permanent | Monday to FridayAre you an experienced Drainage Engineer?Do you have some plumbing experience?Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Drainage Engineer to join the team.The main purpose of this role is to work as a Reactive Drainage/ plumbing operative responsible for supporting with reactive and some planned works.In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £35,000 P/A, depending on experience.This is a full-time, permanent role The hours of work will be shift 7am – 5pm. Requirement to daily overtime, night work and stay aways when requested.Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Leak tracing and investigation on above ground water services
• Repairing leaks on water services in service voids and risers.
• Must demonstrate technical knowledge and competency in undertaking internal and external investigation works, above ground and below ground descales with use of HPWJ and mechanical coring/ milling equipment.
• Must be competent in operating electrical mechanical coring equipment and Picote milling machines for internal drainage clearance works.
• Competent in operating HPWJ equipment
• Removing and replacing small bore waste pipe on pot wash sinks, basins, urinals etc
• Replacing mixer taps, wash down taps and spray guns
• Replacing toilet float lines and stack pipework
• Removing and Installing cast iron soil pipework
• Supporting drainage operatives with internal drain descales.
• Using CCTV equipment to support leak investigation.
• Taking water samples to confirm source of leaks.

The ideal candidate:

• 3+ years experience within Drainage
• Plumbing experience
• Excellent communicator
• Driving license
