THE OPPORTUNITY
At Johnson and Johnson, we are dedicated to addressing and solving some of the most important unmet medical needs of our time. As the National Business Manager, Lung Cancer you will be responsible for building and forming a new team and successfully launching a new transformative medicine into the NSCLC space.
The key focus of the role is to achieve business results nationally by working through your sales team with the goals of contributing to optimal patient outcomes, increasing customer awareness, knowledge and understanding about the company/product/services, and building meaningful partnerships.
This position requires a passionate professional with a proven track record. You’ll have a reputation for success, building strong relationships and achieving high levels of engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruit, build and form a high performing lung cancer team. Initially you will manage two key account managers and hold a territory of your own, before building out a full national sales team.

Market development: With curiosity you will scope out the national lung cancer space identifying where JnJ needs to prioritize its focus in order to successfully launch this new therapeutic option.

Shape the development of national sales, brand strategies and tactics to drive awareness and adoption of this new therapeutic option in Lung Cancer.

Drive execution of national plans through the sales team, adapting approach with agility based on lead indicators and market responsiveness.

Leads your team to develop and implement quality state and account plans across the region that drive mutually beneficial outcomes for customers, patients and JnJ.

Owns & drives their development as well as the individuals within your team. Proactively works with direct reports to establish development plans, supports implementation and reviews plans regularly.

Coaches Account Manages to high performance, embedding continuous development of competitive selling capabilities, key account management capabilities, and breadth and depth of TA / Product knowledge.
You will be required to work with the cross functional team on the development of national plans and provide input into business plan, sales strategy, budget, as well as provide inputs into the organization’s strategic planning process.

Experience within the Healthcare Sales sector essential with experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
