Since our public release in September 2023, we have experienced incredible traction growing from 0 to 17M users. As we grow, our goal is to keep enhancing existing key features as well as developing new exciting functionalities (group chat, AI chat & phone calls in local languages, video calls, AI video generation, AR/VR, etc.).

Your Role

As we accelerate our growth, we’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our brand-new People team! This key role will shape our company culture, drive HR efficiency, and enhance employee satisfaction across a global, remote team.

Reporting directly to our CEO, Alexis, here’s what you’ll be driving:

 

Main Mission

  • Month 1: Get familiar with our HR systems and start to define and implement best practices, with a 3-6 month roadmap in place
  • By 6 months: Optimize HR operations, establish core policies, and assist the CEO in advancing cultural and well-being initiatives. Co-organize global team events, online activities, and bring the company vision to life in our culture. Take full ownership of HR operations, handling employment issues, learning and development initiatives, supporting onboarding, and driving career development plans. Streamline performance reviews and align HR strategy with company goals to strengthen our supportive culture

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR operations: Manage HR activities from policy implementation to helping team members with HR-related topics, ensuring compliance with legal standards and operational excellence
  • Payroll & leave management: Assist with payroll processing and leave management to ensure accurate compensation and policy adherence
  • Employee relations: Address workplace conflicts and provide HR guidance to maintain a positive, productive work environment
  • Optimize HR systems: Lead the optimization of HRIS tools to streamline employee management (we are using Deel at the moment)
  • Team-building events: Coordinate both online and live team-building activities that boost morale and cultivate a collaborative, engaging environment in a global team
  • Performance reviews: Develop and manage an effective performance review system to assess employee performance, provide feedback, and support career growth

 

Your Qualifications

 

Hard Skills

  • 2+ years of hands-on HR experience, with a focus on operations, HRIS, and employee relations
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Deel, HiBob, Workday, or similar for payroll and performance management
  • Understanding or ability to learn about employment laws across various jurisdictions (payroll, benefits, workplace safety)
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to optimize HR operations and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to manage HR operations across multiple regions, navigating the complexities of international and remote teams

 

Soft Skills

 Strong, clear communication & collaborative skills (perfectly fluent in English)

 Goal-orientation, ownership & commitment

Bonus Points
