Job Summary

ICF is seeking a skilled Media Buyer to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and purchasing advertising space across various media platforms to meet the organization’s or clients’ marketing objectives. This role requires a keen understanding of media trends, audience targeting, and cost-effectiveness to maximize return on investment (ROI). The Media Buyer works closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure campaigns align with strategic goals.

Location

Hybrid- Fairfax, VA. Must be willing to go onsite in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, negotiating and purchasing advertising space for the campaign across multiple platforms to reach target audiences in a cost-effective manner.

  • Execute the campaign’s paid media strategy which will require them to work with platforms such as: Google, Meta, Snap, Roblox and be proficient in Out-of-Home advertising methods

  • Identify appropriate media outlets (e.g., TV, radio, social media, online platforms, etc.) to place advertisements.

  • Negotiate pricing, placement, and terms with media vendors to secure the most cost-effective deals.

  • Manage media budgets, ensuring optimal allocation across campaigns.

  • Oversee ad placement, ensuring it aligns with campaign schedules and requirements.

  • Monitor the performance of ads in real time, using analytics tools to track metrics like impressions, clicks, and conversions.

  • Optimize campaigns to improve ROI, adjusting placements and targeting as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, US Citizenship required.

  • Must reside in the United States and work must be performed in the United States.

  • 10+ years of digital marketing and media strategy experience.

  • Possess a Meta Social Media Marketing Professional Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Federal government experience, experience with DHS preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

  • Certification in digital marketing or advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint).

Professional Skills

  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

  • Familiarity with traditional media buying processes.

  • Experience working in a multi-task environment.

  • Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$81,094.00 – $137,860.00
