With inclusion being a key strategic focus, a new team called Education Support has been established to enable our people to make more of a difference.

In this impactful newly created role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the inclusion of all children in a play-based learning environment in our Early Learning and Out of School Hours (OOSH) services. You will facilitate meetings with families, mentor teachers and educators, offer guided practice to teachers and educators, support funding applications and develop inclusion plans for children. You will draw on your extensive understanding of child development, current research and best practice to make a difference.

This position will partner with the Children’s Services team and work in partnership with the Head of Education Support which is also a newly created role that is currently also advertised.

What you need to succeed  

  • Bachelor of Education or similar ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teacher level qualification

  • A specialisation, qualification or extensive experience in Inclusive Education

  • Education and Care Leadership experience

  • Expertise in mentoring teams and delivering structured professional development programs through guided practice models.

  • Strong skills and experience in developing evidence-based strategies and support plans to support children who display challenging behaviour, children who have experienced trauma and children of all abilities.
