As part of our team, you can explore what motivates and energizes your career goals: partnering with our customers, our communities, and each other.Job DescriptionSeeking an experienced Program / Project Manager to join the U.S. Bank Europe Change Team to support and drive Major Change or Strategic Programmes as per European Management Agenda.Specifically, this candidate will be required to:Deliver Major Change Projects as per European Management AgendaProvides direction to project staff assigned to projects and stages within program.Has an in-depth understanding of and focus on the drivers of growth and profit in the business and where team focus should beBuilding and delivering confidence in execution of change managementEstablishes governance and drives all aspects to ensure that assigned Project(s) is implemented, accepted, and operating effectively.Serves as a liaison and builds bridges and relationships with sponsoring executives and among different groups.Works directly with the business line to understand business objectives and strategies related to project priorities.Manages communications regarding project and program management practices that create clear, concise requirements in program and project functionality, resourcing, budgets, and timings.Oversees assigned projects from initial concept through final implementation utilizing approved project methodology/tools and within enterprise standards and guidelines.Organizes and manages a high-quality, cross-functional project team(s) by providing work direction and coaching/mentoring to assigned project resourcesConstructs a Project reporting and tracking framework and benchmarks.Provides oversight to projects to meet established function, quality, cost, and schedule.Escalates issues and risks to appropriate level.Plans, develops, and controls moderate to large project/product budgets.Implementation of required policies and procedures.Effective risk management and mitigation.Supports CAO quarterly Management Reporting processes.Experience/QualificationsExperience of project managementExperience of different project management stylesPayments Industry experience is desirableExperience of FS regulations and regulatory environmentExperience of a multi-national company preferredConsultancy experience is desirableSkills/DispositionStrong change management disciplinesDemonstrated strong project management skillsHighly developed interpersonal and communication skillsA proven track record in the implementation of effective compliance and control standardsThe proven capability to drive projects and programmesAbility to work on own initiativeQualifications required to perform your roleMinimum of 8+ years’ experience as Project or Program Manager or other role of comparable responsibilityExceptional interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, both written and verbalAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Formal Project Management Qualification is desirable (PMP, PMI, Prince 2 or equivalent)Consultancy experience desirableThe role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-LB1#LI-HybridIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our .Benefits:We offer an exciting, fast-paced and diverse working environment with employees of many different nationalities.
