Job Overview
The Digital Marketing Intern will conduct in-depth research and reporting, creating content for Lifeway’s digital channels and learning about various aspects of marketing campaigns. This internship will give you hands-on experience in digital marketing, focusing on analytics, strategy, and content creation for a ministry-driven organization.
Internship Program Details & Requirements
- Compensation: Lifeway’s summer internship program offers a competitive hourly pay rate, and all necessary equipment is provided.
- Work Schedule: Interns work an average of 32 hours per week, with core workdays from Tuesday to Thursday. The expectation is that the internship is the primary focus during working hours.
- Program Duration: June 2 – August 14, 2025 (11 weeks). Interns must commit to participating in the entire program.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and have completed at least two years of study by the internship start date. Recent graduates (December 2024 or May 2025) are also eligible.
- Development Opportunities: Weekly professional development sessions are provided, including specialized training, mentorship, and leadership development.
- Remote Structure: This is a remote position in the U.S., with required in-person attendance for orientation (June 2 – 5, 2025) and end-of-summer presentations (August 11-14, 2025) in Nashville. Travel costs for these events are covered by Lifeway.
- Application Deadline: Applications are due by December 31, with interviews beginning as soon as possible. Selections are finalized by April 1.

- Create content for digital campaigns, including social media, email, and website updates.
- Analyze marketing data to report on campaign effectiveness.
- Support ongoing digital marketing initiatives with the team.
Qualifications
Education
Marketing, Communications, or Business
Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences, required
- Proficiency in digital tools and analytics platforms
- Familiarity with research and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, social media insights).
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Intellectual curiousity around data analysis, with a focus on digital marketing trends, SEO, and social.
Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church
Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences, preferred
- Experience with content management systems or social media tools.
- Understanding of SEO and digital advertising
