Regardless of your role at Wayflyer, you’ll work with a variety of different disciplines and teams from around the world on a multitude of challenging projects and game-changing products to revolutionise the eCommerce landscape.The roleWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our sales team as a Sales Development Representative. This role focuses on driving revenue growth by converting inbound leads into sales opportunities through proactive outreach, effective communication, and strategic use of our CRM system. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in identifying and qualifying potential customers, nurturing relationships, and supporting the sales team in achieving their targets.What you’ll doLead Follow-Up: Promptly follow up on inbound leads generated through various channels such as website inquiries, email campaigns, and social media interactions.Cold Calling: Proactively engage with potential customers via phone calls to introduce our products/services, qualify leads, and schedule meetings for the sales team.Lead Qualification: Assess the needs and requirements of potential customers to determine their suitability for our products/services.Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by preparing materials for client meetings, conducting research on prospects, and assisting with proposal creation.Being Coachable: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt by being open to feedback, implementing suggested improvements, and continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.Reporting: Generate regular reports on lead conversion rates, sales pipeline status, and other key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Training and Development: Stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends through ongoing training sessions and self-directed learning.Knowledge, skills and experienceExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.Enthusiastic about making cold calls and engaging with potential customers.Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to succeed in a sales environment.Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also being self-motivated and independent.Previous experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation is a plus but not required.If you are passionate about sales, enjoy building relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for the Sales Development Representative position and be part of our dedicated team.What is important to point out is that you can do most or all of the above mentioned and can point to your real experience doing it.
