A key element of the role will be identifying and managing IT projects and enhancements that will deliver long-term value and help to drive the Company’s competitive positioning and digital transformation goals.Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and improving information systems by planning, monitoring, and coordinating business teams.
- Assessing information systems results by auditing their application and results.
- Participating in planning and designing technologies to meet the growing needs of the business.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring that staff comply with organisational policies.
- Being a mentor and escalation point for System questions/solutions.
- Implementing Divisional policies and procedures ensuring adherence to control measures specified in the Group-led Kingspan IT Manual.
- Supporting other projects/works and various parts of the business as required.
- Managing systems projects ensuring documentation and processes are followed in compliance with the Tate Divisional IS Policies and the Kingspan IT Manual.
- Point of contact for Divisional IS for changes to shared operational systems within the division.
- Managing change to IS systems and infrastructure through the divisional change management process.
- Manage and Report performance on IS Service Desk KPIs in line with the agreed SLA.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure communication across the site remains consistent and up to date.
- Be the local point of contact for system upgrades, testing and deployment.
- Position IT as a key driver of business success rather than just a support function and nurture a culture that embraces technological change and innovation.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Successfully completed a system deployment.
- At least 4 years’ experience in managing an SAP Business One ERP system
- Good Working Knowledge of MS SQL Reporting
- Good working knowledge of Crystal Reports or similar package
- Must demonstrate a good attitude to work and be flexible to challenges and changes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adapting approach when necessary, in order to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, computer science or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is highly desirable. Project Management certifications or certifications related to IT strategy or Digital Transformation are a plus.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand the broader business context and align IT projects to deliver long-term strategic value.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to lead cross functional teams and manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in modern technology trends such as cloud computing, data analytics, automation and digital tools that enable business growth.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) and best practices in IT project execution.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, vendors and cross-departmental teams.
- Risk Management: Proactive in identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Financial Acumen: Ability to manage project budgets and ensure efficient use of resources, while driving high ROI.
