The Group’s vision is to be the aviation service provider of choice through excellence, experience, and expertise.PositionThe purpose of this role is to assist the Fleet Support Manager to proactively manage the group fleet asset portfolio, across thefull lifespan of each asset to ensure the assets are used effectively and their values are maintained.This role requires to have the right to live and work in the EU.Key Accountabilities:

  • Liaise with the Engineering Shared Service Planning team to develop an overview of the owned and leased airframe and landing gears in the group fleet in terms of strategic maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain an accurate forecast of airframe and landing gear requirements and update the Airframe and Landing Gear Requirement Plans to ensure co-ordination with the commercial team, the timely provision of MRO slots, the provision of replacement landing gears, to optimise the fleet utilisation and to minimise unserviceable off wing time for fleet assets.
  • Review the CAMO supplied workscopes for base maintenance checks to ensure at least the minimum airworthiness requirements are satisfied, the best value for money is achieved and to ensure lease conditions are or will be met.
  • Co-ordinate the Base Maintenance Check reporting from the Technical Representatives to the AOC’s and Commercial Team to ensure all stakeholders are kept appraised of the Base Check Progress. Ensure costs remain inline with budget expectations and escalate issues when necessary. Assist the Technical Representative with the post check administrative work and any follow up meetings with the MRO.
  • Promptly prepeare and process the internal and external airframe reserve claims.
  • Prepare the workscopes for landing gear shop visits to ensure at least the minimum airworthiness requirements are satisfied, the best value for money is achieved and to ensure lease conditions are or will be met.
  • Monitor the progress of the landing gear assets during shop visit events and ensure any MRO queries are addressed promptly, any contractual obligations are fulfilled, any support from the ASL ESS or Procurment teams is requested in a timely manner, and participate in table top inspections or meetings with the MRO as required. Ensure costs remain inline with budget expectations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Perform the post Landing Gear shop visit administrative work such as Invoice review, reserve claims, material recovery etc. and ensure it is completed in a timely manner. Evaluate the project with the MRO provider project team members, ASL Procurement Team and Fleet Support Manager, and coordinate follow on actions.
  • Co-ordinate with the ESS Technical Records team to ensure the records of the owned and leased airframes and landing gears are updated following base checks or shop visit events. Ensure the records of any replaced parts, and the Back to Birth traceability of LLP’s, is to industry standard.
  • Support Lessor requests for updated status reports and manage internal and external mid-term lease audits and inspections.

RequirementsQualifications:

  • A Batchelors degree or a valid EASA Part 66 Licence or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • A good knowledge and understanding of applicable Regulatory Requirements (Part 145/Part CAMO) is desirable.
  • Computer literate with good administration skills, familiar with tools such as AMOS, MS office, e-mail and project management tools is desirable.
  • Fluent technical and conversational English (spoken and written) and local language

Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years experience, working within an MRO or in an aircraft engineering or CAMO organisation.
  • Experience of project management.
