The Opportunity:
As a Project Support Officer/Coordinator, you will perform and achieve complex project work within an integrated workforce under limited direction.
You will support the project management and commercial service by writing business cases, preparing key documents and subcontract compliance. With the sustainment phase ramping up next year, your knowledge in the Capability Life Cycle (CLC), including Gate 0 and Gate 1 processes, will be invaluable.
This is a full-time permanent position, based in RAAF Base, Edinburgh – South Australia.
Interstate applicants are welcome to apply however relocation to South Australia will be required.
This position will require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance and the successful candidate must be willing to upgrade to an NV2.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager in developing project-related documentation such as plans, briefs, and contracts.

Write business cases, minutes, and agendas with accuracy and attention to detail.

Support procurement and commercial activities, ensuring contract compliance.

Develop and maintain project planning and performance processes.

Apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical tasks.

Prepare briefs, correspondence, and reports

Engage with multidisciplinary stakeholders to understand expectations and resolve issues

Contribute to creating processes and templates for project management activities.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

Knowledge of CASG project management processes; acquisition (Gate 0/1) and sustainment (Capability Life Cycle)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

A strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality documentation.

Resilience and adaptability to work with ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Experience in engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
