An exceptional opportunity to develop your skills and learn new ones with the support and guidance of an experienced team.About The RoleAs an Account Manager for the London Book Fair, you are at forefront of driving business sales and creating meaningful connections with our customers. Your mission is to understand their unique needs and challenges and provide tailored solutions that deliver exceptional value. With a focus on value-based selling, are instrumental in helping our customers achieve their business objectives through our world-class events and market leading digital tools. You will become a trusted advisor to your clients, sharing expertise and insight that will bring RX closer to the customer decision making process. You will drive yearly sales growth by developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with our existing, returning, and new accounts.Responsibilities
- Following through the entire sales cycle with a high attention to detail
- Identifying and growing opportunities within territory and collaborating with sales teams to reach and exceed goals
- Understanding and articulating media inventory and products across our video channels and websites.
- Managing monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for your assigned territory
- Monitoring industry trends, competition, climate and issues to help develop sales strategies for specific events
- Selling at competitive shows and preparing show analysis and reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Working with sales management to develop ongoing retention strategies, tools, and programs to drive event retention for assigned territory
- Understanding and selling multiple products across multiple events
Requirements
- Have sales experience (sales experience in the event, sponsorship and digital media industries)
- Demonstrate ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Be experienced in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Have the ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Manage the attainment of signed contracts and ensure that payments are made in full
- Have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
