As a Business Development Engineer at CAE, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and customer relations, working to tailor solutions that meet client needs while driving company growth. Your technical expertise combined with sales acumen will help you identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and support clients in meeting their critical airflow and environmental control requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management: Understand customer needs by establishing rapport with potential and existing clients. Provide tailored engineering solutions and technical product adaptations to meet their specific requirements.
Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Organize and conduct sales calls and presentations with consulting engineers and other stakeholders to promote CAE solutions.
Technical Consultation: Act as the point of contact for technical and engineering inquiries, providing product information, recommendations, and solutions to clients and consultants.
Proposal & Costing: Prepare detailed cost estimates and technical proposals by reviewing client documentation and consulting with engineering and architectural teams.
Project Management Support: Assist with order submissions and manage any required engineering changes. Ensure timely project execution in collaboration with internal teams.
Training & Knowledge Sharing: Support customer teams with technical information and product training, helping to increase their understanding of our solutions.
