As the F135 Fleet Data management, F135 Data Management Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the F135 sustainment program through daily management of the maintenance and updating records, as required, within Maintenix, F135 propulsion system of record. This position will support daily fleet operations and the flow of data related configuration management, life limits, inspection limits and the additional data flow from Lockheed Martin’s Automated Logistics Information System (ALIS) to Maintenix (a Computerized Maintenance Management Software). Lastly, in this position you will be responsible to support all F135 operational and depot sites with timely and accurate event data management within Maintenix.

You will be a key contributor to the concept of accurate data representing the quality documentation for key military engine hardware. Safety, Quality, and Enabling the Customer to Defend Freedom are your key deliverables

As part of the F135 Sustainment organization executing Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts, the Fleet Data Management Team is responsible for ensuring F-35 fleet supportability of the propulsion system with around the clock support and integration with all disciplines of the F135 value stream. Key team mission is to ensure that accurate configuration, lifing, and maintenance status data is available to the warfighter and the F135 Enterprise as close to real time as possible.

What You Will Do: 

  • Support the F135 sustainment program through daily management of the maintenance and providing updates, as required, within Maintenix, F135 propulsion system of record
  • Support all F135 operational and depot sites with timely and accurate event data management within Maintenix
  • Coordinate with other members of internal and external Data and Field Service teams to identify and resolve discrepancies between Maintenix and ALIS.
  • Activities may include Opening and Responding to MERLINs (ticketing systems for tracking issues), Action Requests (customer started tickets) and generation of One-Time Inspection Time Compliance Technical Directives to have customer validate configuration
  • Coordinate efforts with on-site Pratt and Whitney personnel, including Field Service Engineers and Depot Engine Managers
  • This is second shift role

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • BS degree required. Engineering, Data Analytics/Management, Systems Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, Communication or related undergraduate degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Engine or Data Management
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • Familiarity with Jet Engines and Maintenance concepts
  • Ability to create meaningful metrics from large datasets
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and short deadlines
  • Experience in Maintenix or related engine tracking system
  • Experience with F135 data products

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD – 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
