Position Summary:

Responsible for creating and maintaining positive long-term relationships with new and existing remote customers. The Remote Accommodations Account Manager is responsible for on-boarding new remote workforce customers and providing account maintenance primarily to camps located throughout Canada. The Remote Accommodations Account Manager will liaise with operations and transportation departments as required to ensure customer satisfaction with products and services.

Details:

  • This position is a customer facing role with occasional customer visits and potential overnight travel may be required. 
  • Hybrid Role with an expectation to be in person (in the closest distribution center) at least 3 days a week 
  • While the expectation is that we are able to serve our customers at all times, the primary working schedule for this position will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 am- 4:30 pm. 
  • Given the unique nature of the remote accommodations customer base, this position requires on-call availability 3-4 weekends per year.

Essential Functions:

  • Communication – Creating a presentation and presenting to remote/camp customers and potential customers to facilitate the buying process and promote the Organization’s products and services. Collaborating with other departments to meet all customer needs, participating in general sales meetings, promotions and food shows. 
  • Continuous Learning – Keeping up to date with product offerings, market trends and customer needs. Participate in general sales training sessions and vendor/category lead presentations. 
  • Customer Relationship Management – Actively seek new relationships. Collaborate with customers to solve problems, grow territory profitability and facilitate customer ordering, credit payments, and product orders.
  • Project Planning –Create sales budget forecasts and long range business planning. Establish schedules and methods for providing sales growth, identify resources needs and review needs with management.
  • Administration – Create contracts and help with presentations for RFP and CLM processes. Ensure that all documents (contracts, reports) and record keeping are up-to-date and accurate as well as in compliance with governmental and contractual requirements. 
  • Other duties may be assigned, from time-to-time by Immediate Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of inside or outside sales experience
  • Knowledge and experience with large account management
  • Motivated with a high level of attention to detail and highly organized
  • Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English, bilingual French would be an asset. 
  • Post secondary education is preferred
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Knowledge of vendor management is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and online Google applications
