About The RoleWe are looking for a proactive Health and Safety Officer to support the Head of Health and Safety in delivering a comprehensive health and safety action plan. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of safety across our organization.Key Responsibilities: * Deliver a Health and Safety Action Plan: Implement strategies that protect the business while ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Training and Education: Develop and execute a training and education action plan that ensures all colleagues understand their responsibilities and are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely.
- Incident Investigation Management: Manage and maintain effective standards for incident investigation and reporting related to health and safety across all sites.
- Health and Safety Auditing: Implement and conduct a scheduled timetable of health and safety audits across the LPCH estate to monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement.
About You
- NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety certification
- Experience in health and safety management
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams
