You will be:

  • Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse with active NMC PIN
  • Clinical supervision experience is essential, training is desirable
  • Evidence of CPD and intent to maintain and develop CPD and leadership.
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience in Acute Mental Health
  • At Least 3 years, or equivalent post registration experience.
  • Mentorship desirable however training could be provided

Key responsibilities:Assisting the Ward Manager in providing day to day management and supervision of the wardAssisting the Ward manager in providing management and supervision of a team of registered and unregistered staff.Implementing best practice across the wardSupport changes within the serviceResponsible for the clinical direction of the serviceSupport the delivery of personalised care and contribute to service improvementSupporting and contributing to MDT practiceImplementation and evaluation of therapeutic interventions within an overall care programmeAssisting the ward manager in ensuring that care and treatment is provided meets the standards set by regulators.Company and Facility information:

  • 35+ bedded low secure mental health facility offering support to adults with acute mental health needs and eating disorders, and specialise in the management and treatment of these conditions.
