Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role primarily focuses on transforming complex marketing data, particularly within B2B environments, into insightful visualisations and actionable reports that underpins data-driven decision-making across our organisation. Your deep expertise in Power BI and knowledge of digital marketing strategies, especially in paid media, will be crucial in optimising marketing efforts and enhancing campaign performance.This is a high-visibility, high impact opportunity that allows you to exercise your eye for detail, grasp of marketing campaign best practice and the ability to build a narrative from data. You will be strong in data-led storytelling and visualisation so that you can present the ‘so what’ behind the insights you find. We are looking for a team player with a assured approach who will work closely with digital, CRM, sales and sector marketers to deliver tangible outcomes for the business.The role is based in either our London or Bristol offices. We support hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.Main DutiesAdvanced Marketing Data Analysis and Visualisation: Develop sophisticated dashboards and reports using Power BI that provide detailed insights into B2B marketing tactics, campaign performances, and customer engagement. Work closely with the marketing team to translate complex datasets from digital campaigns into clear, actionable information.Data Integration and Strategic Data Handling: Integrate data from diverse marketing platforms, including CRM systems like Salesforce, and digital advertising channels. Ensure the consistency and accuracy of marketing data, emphasising the analysis of paid media effectiveness and customer journey analytics.Custom Report Development for Marketing Strategy: Design and create customised reports that track digital marketing performance and ROI. Utilise advanced visualisation techniques to present complex data in an accessible format to stakeholders.Development of Measurement Frameworks: Build comprehensive measurement frameworks using Power BI, Tableau, and other analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) to track and measure the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies.Data-Driven Strategy Formulation: Apply data analysis techniques including segmentation, predictive modelling, and A/B testing to enhance marketing strategies. Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis to improve overall campaign performance.Performance Optimisation and Governance: Oversee the performance and maintenance of BI tools to ensure high-speed retrieval and availability of marketing data. Implement data governance practices tailored to the specific needs of digital marketing data security and integrity.Training and Collaboration: Provide ongoing training and advice to marketing teams, enhancing their competence in utilising analytics and BI tools for self-service data exploration and decision-making. Foster a collaborative environment to ensure alignment between data analytics and marketing goals. What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a numerate subject – Maths, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Power BI, Google Analytics, or similar tools are highly desirable.
  • A pragmatic person with exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for storytelling with data – able to pull out key messages from datasets and dashboards to drive and evaluate decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, to convey data insights clearly.
  • Extensive experience working in analytics. Ideally with experience working in marketing and eCommerce, or a related field focused on digital marketing and campaign performance improvement.
  • Expert knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service and Power Query. Proficiency in SQL but more importantly a know-how of transforming data and building data models.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) and experience in developing dashboards and measurement frameworks.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy, quality, and governance, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics techniques including segmentation and predictive modelling highly desirable.
