The Syrian Women’s Network “UMUT KADIN TOPLULUĞU” announces its desire to contract with an expert to write and develop a gender equality policy
The Syrian Women’s Network ” UMUT KADIN TOPLULUĞU ” is a non-profit organization licensed in Turkey since 2015. It works in the field of training and building women’s capacities, advocacy and defending their rights, aiming to build a democratic society based on freedom, justice and gender equality. The network consists of a group of organizations and individuals.
It is currently seeking to attract experts to work within its current projects
Tasks and responsibilities
- Design and implement a workshop to identify challenges and provide recommendations to achieve gender equality.
- Study challenges and assess the gender gap
- Write and design a gender equality policy for the Syrian Women’s Network
- Develop a plan to follow up and evaluate the implementation of the policy in the network’s programs and projects.
Required qualifications
- A university degree in this field or similar
- At least two years of experience in the field of gender equality
- Experience in writing and developing policies for women’s organizations
- Knowledge of international agreements and standards related to gender equality
- Effective communication and training skills
