We have an exciting new opportunity for a Legal Administrator to join Flynn O’Driscoll LLP.Flynn O’Driscoll LLP has an excellent opportunity for a legal administrator seeking to move into a great team and is presently inviting applications ideally with experience in the corporate practice of a large law firm.The role will be within the firm’s growing corporate team on a full-time basis in its Dublin office. The successful candidate will be a solution driven problem solver with a strong work ethic and drive to gain great legal experience. The firm has an excellent reputation as an employer with a strong sense of teamwork and fair play. Remuneration is competitive.The role will include work in the following areas:

  • Assisting solicitors and partners with day to day activities, to include file management, scanning, circulating and filing post/deliveries;
  • Managing documentation flow;
  • Documentation preparation;
  • Liaising with directors and clients in relation to documentation execution;
  • Attending Board meetings and taking accurate detailed minutes;
  • Drafting of client correspondence;
  • Arranging for documentation to be notarised and apostilled;
  • Drafting corporate approvals;
  • Processing documentation mark ups;
  • File management;
  • Responding to all communication and queries as they arise;
  • Collating reports to keep clients informed;
  • Preparation of document bible post completion;
  • Assisting with the billing and funds processes; and
  • Client engagement and AML processes.

The successful candidate must be/have:

  • Approximately 1-2 years’ experience working in a medium or large firm in a busy Administration role (not necessarily in a Legal Firm);
  • Excellent MS Office skills and attention to detail;
  • The ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team;
  • A strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude;
  • An excellent academic background and references;
  • Relevant experience in and a strong knowledge of all of the above practice areas;
  • A collegiate, friendly and positive outlook;
  • A practical and commercial understanding of commercial clients’ needs;
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage a busy workload whilst meeting deadlines;
  • Ambitious, positive, team-orientated and a self-starter;
  • Team focused with the willingness and ability to support colleagues;
  • Eager to work with ambitious and highly capable professionals and you are excited to become involved in developing the firm’s future;
  • Excellent legal research, drafting and presentation skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
