Here at Dr Gilkar & Partner we are looking to recruit a receptionist to join our growing practice. The opportunity covers both our main surgery at Little Horton Lane and our branch surgery based in the Woodroyd Centre. As part of our friendly team you will be responsible for providing a pleasant and efficient service to our patients being the face of the practice.Main duties of the jobDuties and responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointments system
- Processing face to face and telephone requests for appointments, visits and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional
- Processing and distributing incoming (and outgoing) mail
- Taking messages and passing on information
- Filing and retrieving paperwork
- Processing repeat prescriptions in accordance with practice guidelines
- Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team member and associated healthcare agencies and providers
- Providing clerical assistance to practice staff as required from time to time, including filing, photocopying and scanning
