Principal Bridge Design Engineer – Sandyford, DublinOffice/Project Location: Sandyford, DublinEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office Based / HybridPay: CompetitiveExperience: 12+ yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is an award-winning international engineering consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth.Provide specialist and technically demanding input to bridge and multidisciplinary civil engineering projectsWork with a dynamic, talented team on an exciting range of bridgeworks projectsDevelop your skills to the highest industry standardsWork closely with new and existing clientsHelp grow our business by supporting our bid teamAdvance your career under the guidance of our senior management teamWork with both existing and new bridges and civil structures across a range of materials and forms, superstructure, substructure and articulation elementsGet involved at the early project stages: scoping, specifying and interpreting surveys, inspection and investigative works, optioneering, scheme designDetailed design: modelling, calculations, overseeing drawing productionDocument preparation, including authoring technical reports, such as AIPs, specifications and contract documentsReview the work of others: cat 3 checking, as a client representative and designer’s site representativeInterface with clients from local and national authorities, consultants, and D&B contractors amongst othersSupport the development of our junior staff towards gaining professional qualificationsRequirementsA degree in civil/structural engineering to master’s level or equivalent.
