Job description

We currently have a vacancy for an Application Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Participation technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users;
• Provide expert guidance on business architecture and systems processing, leveraging insights to create and implement long-term business visions and multi-year plans;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting;
• Definition and analysis of the business requirements;
• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers;
• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture;
• Definition, elaboration, management, and reporting of quality tests;
• Realization of mock-ups.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 7 years of specific expertise in Java;
• Minimum 7 years of specific expertise in JavaScript;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Agile environment;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud technologies, AWS especially;
• Minimum 4 years of experience JIRA;
• Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns;
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
• Good knowledge of applications design;
• Good knowledge of modelling tools;
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
• Good knowledge of business process analysis;
• Knowledge of testing technologies, tools and techniques;
• Experience in Quality procedures will be an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language, French would be an asset.
