For more information on living and working in the Western Isles visit the website: http://www.wihb.scot.nhs.uk/wihrr.pdf.We are looking for a highly motivated experienced nurse to manage Medical 2/ Erisort ward at the Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway.Medical ward 2 is a 22 bedded general medical ward comprising of acute adult medicine and stroke, Erisort ward is a 16 bed covid surge ward operating as and when requiredYou will have overall clinical, professional and managerial responsibility for the ward on a 24-hr basis.Applicants should have RN1 Adult level registration with the NMC, a health-related degree as well as extensive clinical experience including evidence of management experienceThe post demands excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
