  • Provide high quality service to internal and external customers. Able to remain positive in challenging situations. Sets example to more junior level colleagues.
  • Proficient at organizing and maintaining records related to position specific activities.
  • Able to define project scope, develop project plan, budget and lead HR project implementation to completion within set parameters and timeline for the team.
  • Proficient at utilizing various modules and features of the Human Resources Information system to effectively manage personnel records.
  • Stays abreast of external HR trends and legal requirements and able to translate these trends into internal application as they relate to HR Policies and SOPs. Proficient at drafting HR Policies, SOPs and GDs.
  • Expert at organizing individual projects and tasks to ensure on time task, project and goals completion. Effectively manages priorities.
  • Effectively sets and manages priorities to ensure efficient and timely outcomes to satisfy internal and external customers. Guides a set of priorities for the team of individual contributors and Managers.
  • Consistently stays abreast of Employment Law development and changes. Has an in-depth knowledge of the Employment Law. Advises organization on policy changes related to Employment Law practices and trends.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of employee benefits. Works with Benefits vendors to design benefits plans to ensure cost effectiveness, legal compliance and employee engagement. Facilitates open enrollment process and implementation of employee benefits changes.
  • High level of proficiency in compensation and payroll practices. Able to conduct assessment of internal and external compensation equity and recommend adjustment as needed. Suggest improvements to the process.
  • Experienced with Employee Relations management. Ensures successful implementation of Employee Relations strategy to drive team engagement. Successfully resolves employee relations issues in accordance with the company policy and within legal compliance requirements. Mentors team members on Employee Relations best practices. Works with legal counsel to seek advice and escalate concerns as needed. Works with members of other office locations to align employee relations strategies across locations.
  • Identifies Learning and Development needs and provides input in development of L&D Strategy and plans. Expert adult learning facilitator.
  • Has an in-depth knowledge of full cycle of Talent Acquisition process and MMS staffing requirements. Coordinates resourcing needs with the Operations Team. Advises on best sourcing strategies. Sets direction for the recruitment team. Ensures staffing needs are met within required timeline and within defined costing structure. Runs global recruitment strategy meetings.

Job Requirements

  • College graduate Human Resources discipline or related field, or related experience.
  • Minimum of 9 years’ experience in Human Resources or similar field required.
  • Ability to anticipate and effectively resolve potential problems with client demands.
  • Demonstrates managerial skill and experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience with clinical trial and pharmaceutical development preferred.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work with others to clearly understand needs and solve problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with current ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards preferred.
  • Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, FDA, and GCP requirements.
  • Basic understanding of CROs and scientific & clinical data/terminology, & the drug development process.
