Job description
Accountancy Practice based in Wilmslow is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join their growing team. The successful Manager will be AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified/ finalist.The Manager will be working with a varied portfolio of clients ranging from sole traders to multi-million-pound businesses handling statutory accounts while offering advice where applicable as well as managing a team of staff.Manager Position Overview
- Managing a team of staff
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Review of annual accounts
- Review of corporation tax
- Managing a £200k portfolio of clients
- Preparation of annual accounts
- Preparation of corporation tax returns
- Preparing detailed management accounts in excel
- Training staff
- Meeting potential new clients, sending proposals and helping on board new clients
Manager Position Requirements
- 8 years’ experience of working in a practice including managing clients
- Must be experienced in completing year-end accounts
- AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified/ finalist
- Experience using Iris would be advantageous
Manager Position Remuneration
- Salary up to £55,000 per annum
- 25 days annual leave + birthday off + the 3 working days between Christmas and New Year and an extra day for every 2 years of service, capped at 30 days.
